I HAVE NEVER CONTACTED AN AUTHOR BEFORE AND I AM RELUCTANT TO DO SO. I FEEL RATHER THICK, BUT I REALLY DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE ENDING OF "THE LITTLE STRANGER" WHAT DID CAROLINE ACTUALLY "SEE"?

    Hi Peggy,

I'm sure you're not the only one who questions the ending of books! But rather than do a big reveal and maybe spoil it for people who haven't read it yet, hopefully you can find an answer to your question in the discussion on the 'Read It, Swap It' forum here: http://forums.readitswapit.co.uk/forums/t/60513.aspx. Hope that helps!

Oh, the ending was so well done!!! So brilliantly done. Just enough ambiguity and then chilling clarity. Sarah Waters couldn't have done it better.

Hello and greeting from Lithuania!

5 minute ago I finihed reading 'The Little Stranger' (in Lithuanian 'Svetimkūnis') and what can I say – this is one of the best novels i've ever read.. When I started reading I couldn't work, study, sleep or eat – I was just drinking galons of coffee and reading :) I was so in to the novel, that my dreams were only about the house and novels characters)

Now I just want to say a big THANK YOU, for such an adventure while reading…

P.s.: will try to look for other Sarah Waters novels in lithuanian, if I won't find any, then for sure will buy an original version.

Sincerely,
Jolanta
